Welcome, thank you for being here 🌱
I’m a therapeutic counsellor and group facilitator. For more than ten years, I’ve supported people to navigate conflict, make difficult decisions, build power, deepen self awareness, and develop the skills they need to create meaningful change.
I came to my practice via community organising and social change work. These influences continue to shape my offerings. I care deeply about supporting people to step into leadership, lean into community, strengthen their agency, and move towards the changes and transformations they seek in their lives.
My experience and expertise are informed by my Jamaican-British working-class heritage and LGBTQIA+ perspectives. My social science background has given me a strong understanding and appreciation of how wider social, cultural, and structural factors shape our experiences. I bring this awareness into my work with clients, recognising that personal challenges do not exist in isolation from the world around us. That said, I’m led by my client’s experience and exploration of the world as they see it.
Outside of this work I prioritise live music, comedy and time with family and community. I also ensure I’m consistently strengthening my practice by attending supervision, workshops and reading.
